HEYLOW! Im here, blogging, once more ...Aside from being too busy and such, here's another reason for the "interlude"...

I just realized how much I thinly spread myself like a dallop of nutella on a large wheat bread. LOL...Is my hunger showing?...But seriously, I noticed how much social sites I've joined i for this year alone..and though it has it's perks (e.g. boredom buster, stress reliever, eye-googling euphoria..)...it's starting to take a toll on me. Friendster was the first ever, but after some time, narcism wasn't really my thing. Then came Plurk, I loveD plurk...easy to maintain, interactive and teh very place I knew about Blogger...then Facebook talks were circulating so I thought "hmm..no harm in joining...This would HOPEFULLY be the last" but noo...I just had to join twitter, tumblr and even fromspring! I know Im not alone, I notice a lot have multiple accounts over the www too. Then you know what;s so evil about these sites? They know the weakness of most humans....ATTENTION. And some crave soo much things end up being a popularity contest...which I see is not worth it...AT ALL. Don't get me wrong, I know why these sites exist..to socialize (duh xP) and meet new people, find common interest, gain new friends. I mean, Im pretty thankful for sites like this for w/o them I wouldnt have made acquaintances into close friends or even meet other www surfers who end up being great online friends and picker-uppers...there's nothing wrong with THAT at all....What seems wrong is ALLOWING 1000+ in into your life! Sure, let them follow you..add them up on Facebook..expose yourself to possible stalkers and hackers! An oh, not to mention the kidnappers who your helping making their jons easier! ..

*inhales*ok ok think I went off topic there haha sorry for that, but thinking about it just pisses me off...and now Im relieved HALLELUJAH xD....

But yeaah, maybe that;s one more reason why I plan to escape the social networking scenes for a while...Life's too complicated as it is...so for the mean time....

With my unsatisfactory performance in school, Papa's taking away my laptop ....well, ok, just on the weekdays...but still, I'd have to get used to a whole new routine....One that MIGHT be the answer to my grade problems...Hope all will turn out fine...

This week was one heck of a week...Even though my eyes are like blinking (lol..duh)...Certain three things for this week are still so vivid in my head...

The very first scouting-hand-on activity we ever did for Scouting class ....what you might ask? Well, we were made to grill fish and cook rice the scouting way ..You know, the whole fire, wood, charcoal stuffs...Even the some BOYS were excited that they helped out...well, it looked as if they were the so-called GIRL SCOUTS hahaha... AND AND....one of the guys was my ~~crush~~ er...well I dont really know what's the best term to describe it him.......so yeah, I thought I wasnt crushing on him anymore but during the scouting thing, I saw his mature side again, in short, the side of him I rarely see since he's downright imma 99% of the time which caught me of guard...

I picked the wrong-est time not to do homework for a certain subject... Ms. Values was already on the verge of walking out even after she just came in ...So know I have to write a whole page essay on Filipino Culture....1oX!!!....and this all triggered my disappointment-with-myself-breakdown...Don't worry, I'm coping up with myself though...

Teachers decided to welcome us by bombarding us with projectS ALREADY!...We have this THESISthe fact that it's just a BABY thesis DOESNT ease the torture....WEBSITE MAKING...BOOK BINDING...a PLAY...DANCE for the upcoming CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION AND the suspense-giving project in Reading that still needs clarification...All this to do before the END OF FEBRUARY...since our vacation is pushed earlier due to NAT ohw irony

So yeah...busy busy busy...

To jive with the birth of a new year...I figured a new look for my blog would be appropriate ...and well uuh *interrupted by bladder* ...Anyways...This would have to be the skin that I put the most work into editing ...And it's still unfinished! Have you ever tried crying at the wrong time wherein your tears cant control themselves and end up showing in front of the people you'd least want to see? Then no matter how much they pester you to tell them what's wrong YOU CANT???....

That happened to me a while ago...Incase you haven't read the post before this and I couldnt blame you since a day hasnt gone by yet and am posting again -_-...The tears that I held back last night rebelled and ended up releasing at the wrong time and place. No matter how much I told mama to let go of me already, she wouldn't stop treating me like a baby who needs her mother when tears roll down her face. Don't get me wrong, I'm forever thankful for the care my mother has given, BUT there are really just those moments when a girl would like to cry out in SOLITUDE and shouldn't be asked why.

But honestly, ever since this morning, I didn't harbor any negative emotions from last night. Something just happened to triggered my tears T-T.

Therefore I conclude (LOL) that once you feel like crying and you're on your own. LET IT OUT. or it might rupture at the wrong time :P

wooh...~~tonight~~ a few hours ago was one heck of a Christmas Eve ...To be honest...I wasnt that merry ...I knew it the moment the one of our lights short-circuited a FIRE actually started..Then evrything else bad just seemed to follow

I guess it all started with my little bro being so ~~damn~~ impatient for at least clock to strike midnight and pestering the me out. Then when I thought things were getting better when we decided to open the presents early, I felt, well, like crying... That's how I felt. But I guess it was just me being a drama queen and focusing too much on THE IDEAL Christmas (am sure you have an idea of what it is) But it's CHRISTMAS EVE after all and I didnt want to ruin the night for anyone so I gave an effort to lighten my spirits....

Now that I've let that all out, I'm burying that now and off to the brighter side of th

e night....

Waiting for the clock to strike twelve was soo tiresome that my sibs ended up playing with their gifts already with Papa...he was the most hyper "kid" playing ....

soooo fast forwarding to a couple of minutes before Christmas....My little bro couldnt wait any longer for the fireworks...yehp, it's allowed at our place ..

Ironically though, when we were about to start....Little brother started packing up his toys telling us "nag.andam na ko kay unyag masunog ag bay" (Im preparing incase the house gets burned down) He wasnt joking around but I WE found it HILARIOUS....until he started crying....I STILL found it hilarious hahah..not being mean ha...It was just so cute

Ever since yesterday, I started watching the American Idol Season 8 re-run hoping to hear Adam Lambert sing Note: I never watched American Idol before or finish a full show that is . I usually wait for something to die down before I squeel over it . Anyways, going back to Adam Lambert ...I've already heard of him before but today was the first time I saw him on TV . After the show, I went to the net to google him and read about how talented he is *stating the obvious*. Unfortunately, Ive known from the start that he's...well...prefers guys ..

WEEE! I think my bloggary mood returned to me! Finally! I thought it'd take a long time before I could make a proper post! I just hate doing something when my heart's not into it. So anyways, since I've got a lot of typing to do and I don't know how to add that spoiler thing in my posts yet...I could only give SUBTITLES to ease the pain of reading such a looong post

ON HELL WEEK

another reason why I haven't made a proper update is because of HELL WEEK a.k.a our 3rd Periodical Examinations! I thought I'd do better this grading but turns out I went from bad to worse. For the 3 days, I didnt EXACTLY study. I prefer calling it last-scanning-of-notes-on-the-morning-of-the-tests. If you asked how I did...I simply relied on my instincts. Especially in a multiplication type of test. I just close my eyes and whichever letter would go gold in my mind thats the answer! OR I'd use the very useful PINTOT-PINTOT SYSTEM. If you are not familiar with this system, it's pretty simple...you pick a letter by random or use the whole eeny-meeny-miny-mo way. So for sure, I dont expect to get high scores And I dont want to consume my post typing bout this too horrible to think about...

NO REASON, ONLY EXCUSES

Yesterday, I went to mass with Mama and my lil' bro. I thought I'd just space out somewhere in the middle of it all. But the moment I saw who the Readers were, I was enlightened already! Why? Because while I saw them, THEY COULDN'T SEE ME NOR ANYONE. Yes, they were blind. Three blind children took their turn reading out the Word of God. I know Braille is already invented and all but just seeing them up there, doing something not all could or would do is just...wow. Plus the fact that while the priest was talking he did sign language too. The bottom line of this is there is no reason to not be able to do something. None at all. Instead, people just make excuses to avoid facing what they are afraid of doing

SECRET SIS SANTA

Thanks to certain relatives who are very generous this season, I am no longer broke! Well, not oozing green either but at least I have enough moolah to get each member of my family a gift. Only thing is they are clueless of my secret santa ways. I've been known to be a little tight when it comes to holiday cash since it's either only this time of the year or during my Birthday when I receive chachings yehp...I have NO allowance So I buy whatever I want to buy which my 'rents would never pay for. But for some reason, thinking about giving MY gift to others made me feel all jumpy and excited than when I'd buy something for myself. But I will admit it's not easy. Escpecially the SECRET part>< class="Apple-style-span" color="#FFCC66">bittersweet feeling I get thinking how much I've used up already for gifts! most extravagant Christmas spending yet. But the when I think about all those years wherein I didn't give any gifts to my family, all those birthdays, anniversaries...then it seems that what Ive spent isnt that big at all...

To be honest, I visit this blog almost daily. I just cant stay away. I love escaping to this special place of mine. I feel at ease just visiting since either my body is too worn out or my brain and heart refuse to cooperate when to make a new post.

Wednesday: School held Dawn Mass....NO CLASSES....plus the study session starts

And as much as I'd like to share about the not-so-hell-ish..even great parts of this week...I'm suffering from wooziness at the moment and my brain is nagging me to get out of the net world...

80th Foundation Day

YESS! Am finally in my room, in bed, with my one love, Mr.laptop!*whew*...Today was one heck of a day. As I've entitled this post, it's the 80th Foundation Days of our school. And though I'm totally pooped, I'd like to share the happenings for this one-heck-of-a-day....

It all started with the usual parade that starts from the Plaza until our school. (around a 1km of a walk)...BUT this year, the parade was scheduled to start at 9:ooam than our usual 7:30 time! So as expected, the sun was shooting us with who-knows-how-harmful UV rays! Gaaah! And another thing which I thought sucked was the fact that this year, instead of our usual colorful costumes, we. all. wore. PE!which made me think that it was pointless for a parade if we were just going to wear our PE uniforms...So yeah...at least the jogging parts made it a bit better LOL..parade jogging

Then when we arrived at school, there was this opening program that went on but I'm not going to stress much on that since it was..well....pffft. So fast forwarding to lunch...then the field demo. You see, our school was only used to having an evening show. But since some 'rents complain about the $chaching$ spent on costumes, boom! field demo was born! and another reason is because of our new, this-is-how-it-SHOULD-be Directress who isn't even present..But getting back to field demo talk...Not everyone is really in it, just majority of the student body. The 70 somethin' who auditioned or were chosen are in the evening show. like moi! And well, it wasn't that bad..some performances were actually great

And don't even get me started with the booths (ok..am starting with the booths) Is it just me or ever year it gets...less fun? The only booths that were a major hit were the Jail Booth wherein aside people catch you if you fall under there "BEWARE" category e.g. BEWARE to those wearing jeans! ..I mean who doesn't like getting chased then imprisoned and needs to pay a bail huh? ...Then of course there are there's the Handcuff Booth, were we pay to get some unlucky (or lucky) pair cuffed xD...I spent most of my chits on this one...ooh I noticed a lot were getting hitched in the Marriage Booth this year! xD My best friend got married without me! roflolmao! But it was for mere fun though since the guy was just a friend..our friend ^^...but the "three-layered icing cake" a.k.a a cupcake with too much icing fight was a blast! The only not so good part was not getting in the Horror Booth...though it seems to get less scarier each year...I still want to go in for the sake of well...getting in ...Sadly, this always has the longest line...so they told us to come back tomorrow <_<

So yeah, as I see it, Foundation days get..uhh...less festive each year...But for some reason, this would have to be the most tiresome one for me yet! My legs feel like limpy noodles! Must've been all the running

Ok...I better end this post since aside from it's getting the same length as that walk we had, I ditched Mama at the mall with the reason I was tired..(and I am!) So off to catch some zzz's

P.S Some heart flew today..but..am just gonna keep it hush hush..a long with the revelations I found out

I know for a fact that a song hits the MYX charts, everybody would be singing it! Especially when it comes to Taylor Swift's. I admire her so much as an artist....but I admit hearing her songs over and over and over here and then there is well....pffft...I couldnt wait to find another song from her that isnt well-known YET. And guess what? I did find one! And now am hooked up on it! I sing it before I sleep, when I bathe, when I clean, when I walk...when when..I DO STUFFS! XD No wonder I lost my voice one time haha...anyways...here it is...

Ok, just to make things clear, my so-called Coke of a love life does NOT fit into the lyrics...I guess it 'cause I can relate in it in a sense that at times, when I say something..I mean something else...

Also, a friend let me watch Taeyung's Wedding Dress MV! This time, the lyrics werent the ones stuck in my head actually, I cant even remember the lyrics or the tune! It's the video itslef that's stuck in my head!

I am blogging as a last result to maybe cure my boredomiginitis*. No, I am not bored because there's nothin to do. I had my plurk, facebook, ym and even youtube and ~~someone else's facebook~~ opened but I didn't really have my heart into any of it so I left it all.

I just noticed how people would always resort to multitasking as a way to get a lot of things done in a short time. But as I've come to see it, when I'm multitasking, Im loosing a much. Oh great irony!. Yeah yeah, I may not be huge fan of it right now but I'd be lying if I say I never had those 3-things-in-one-go moments...because I do have...all the time...out of in-a-rush-habits, and though I do get things done, I've missed a lot by being too..well, in a rush. It's like when I have this tab open for my cafe world, then another one for my plurk, all so that I could maintain both my karma and buzz rate...then bam! It hits me...these things are supposed to be for enjoyment...for stress-relievers..and not stress-causers (is there even a word XD) But noo...my competitiveness is in the way ...Because whether we're conscious of it or not, we look at life and part of it (like he internet) as competition...who gets the most friends in facebook, the most fans, the greatest value in Friends for Sale ( Ha! I bet some are having those guitly grins right now!) and blah blah blah

Ok ok...I know what I;m typing isn't really that interesting but I just had to do somethin to let it out or I might be all glummy-dummy for the whole night! And wow! it worked! Am feeling much better now! Instead of making a better continuation to this post..Am just gonna spare those who are reading this from having to deal with a whole page post! So I might just post again tomorrow

After church, my family went to the mall to eat. But instead, we ended up buying tickets 30 min. before showing time and having take out for the movie 2012! At first it seems a tad boring and a bit confusing I had to ask my bro beside me for clarification...But as the movie progresses....GAAAD! UUH-MAY-ZING! I was so immersed in it that I sacrificed holding down my pee for an hour or so! It was worth every piso we spent on SIX tickets...And now, instead of boring you guys to death by a loong post about why it was an amazing film...here's a teaser that I found in youtube to uuh....tease you to watch it(?)...

I had one heck of a busy week! Well, it would have been less hectic if it wasn't for my procrastinating habit. Once I start procrastinating for that week, the whole week is bound to be stressful.But good news! I survived! barely though

I wanted weekend to come sooooo badly. If it didnt come sooner, I could have died exagerated but more or less true It's no wonder when Friday came and I realized it was Friday, I couldn't stop screaming cheering "TGIF TGIF TEEGEEEAAYEFF!!!" to the point that even my friends had to proclaim I lost it...though I already lost it a long time ago

Oh yeah, here's another thing I've been battling with this week....matters of my dear heart. Haha...ok, it's not what you think (whatever your thinking that is)...I am not inlove nor close to going there. In case I didnt mention this, I dont take crushing seriously anymore. I just admire him because of this and that then the next I don't and admire someone else. I dont even tell my bestie who anymore, I merely say "it's on" or "it's off" like a switch. But I think this certain guy was able to put my switch on stuck mode making him permanently eer..maybe semi permanently on the ON. ~~I think I'm crushing again .~~ Like crush crush...But then, due to my I-dont-want-things-deeper syndrome...eIts still the same on then off sitch

But my question her is...Do I really like LIKE him? Or is it just me wanting someone special again... AARGH! Better not make this such a big matter. If I like then I like...right? And I'll make sure it'll be just that.

Our class, the II-JADE plus some from the section AMETHYST had our recollection at the Estrada Retreat House which took a 30 minute never-silent bus ride to get there.. It was a mixture of fun-but-tiresome and inspiring-with-some-few-boring-moments on the side. And though there was a downpour in the middle of it all, it didn't really make any difference to us ...~~Also the first recollection wherein I was deeply touched that I cried~~. All in all, it was one heck of a day that I'm glad I didn't miss. Made me love and give more importance to life and the special people in it. Too bad I didn't bring a cam (-_-)..gotta grab some pics from people

Trust me, it wasn't easy finding a skin that wasn't PINK or YELLOW! Again, not hating this colors, just boycotting them since I already tried 'em. This last week has been really nerve-wrecking for me. I had to DEBATE during the UP AcadFest! And FYI, I am not the type who rejoices speaking in front of a crowd. A lot happened but if I wrote it all down...I'd bore you to death...so here are just the more or less important ones...

1. My bestfriend and I only made it to the semi (our competition: juniors and seniors...)
2. Our other team won!
3. I heart my outfit (I'd like to share it here..but am infected with the lazy bug at the moment)

I don't really want to blab that much about the debate and all since until now, I STILL FEEL NERVOUS! (Must be the after shock of it all)..So switching topic...*switch switch*

SEMBREAK IS HEEERE!

Those are both tears of joy AND sadness...I mean I'm happy I finally have time to do ~~important~~ stuffs (like internet bonding XD?) and relax and time to try to catch up with the notes and schoolwork...But, for one whole week, I was separated with my class! Missing all the discussions, activities, tests and not to mention all my job as a treasurer in class!!! How the heck am I suppose to catch up? I have no idea! I am suffering Missingectamy right now ...

I am effin stresses right now. Just came from the second to the last day of tests (yes, we still have to go in tomorrow*sigh*) And I think I know the reason why my stress meter got suddenly triggered. It's all thanks to that eye-popping-brain-numbing Algebra test! All those x's and y's and and GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I dont even think I'd pass! My brain still feels cramped ....To top it off, My mind was worrying about that movie project we have to pass next week which is still on hold...

After we got dismissed, my mood sorta changed...I felt more irritable than usual that my friend had to poke the lines my scrunched-up face made...I tried breathing, I guess it helped ...

And as of this moment, well,... Im typing this entry hoping it would release some of pressure am feeling (aah...the pros of having a blog)

But me starting to cool down right now is all thanks to Mr.Bo and his inspiring words.It's all thanks to him that the mood in my sidebar and the quote doesn't match..hahaha....

Yes, I cant deny that am still feeling stress-y right now....but I just tell myself over and over...

Looking out the window of the car, I first noticed the brightest, largest, most yellow-ish thing in the sky...the moon. And even though it isn't my very first time to see a moon like that, it still puts me in awe everytime!

Then, coming out of the car, I noticed something much more beautiful....the way the night sky was sprinkled with countless shining stars! It gave me the urge to take out a mat and just lie down outside and admiring it. Then bit by bit, all the stress and chaos of the past days seem to...well....vanish. I actually noticed myself breathing!

The longer I watched, the more things I started realizing. Like:

~how HUGE the amount of time I've spent on being indoors infront of the computer that I've forgotten how great the outdoors can be!

~I dont really need to go to the spa to relax

and that...

~God's greatness is everywhere...we just fail to see them since we're to busy with our lives to stop and notice

I've often hated how our place is quite far from the city..with all my friends...But then again, I think I wouldnt be able to see starry nights like this there...

P.S I tried capturing it in the digicam so I could post it her but only the BRIGHTEST star could be seen(and it seems so measly in the pic!) so I suggest you just go and try seeing it yourself

Uugh....I've shed too much tears for the duration of this movie were making...And am not even one acting!Haha..yeah...my drama's all behind the scenes (is this the curse of being behind the camera?)...

I think I've even beaten Santino(a child star in this show where he cries so easily ) on his crying moments for one episode....Mine's good for a whole week! LOL..ok...exagerated much?...but yeah...my eyes are so puffy-puff-puffed right now...

Oh yeah...the reason?...

me+parents-trust= effin tears...

I mean, I know teens now a days..are well..you know...unreliant?..but COME ON! Imagine....working so hard on something....going home late....even getting yourself wet by the rain just so that you could prove to them that you ARE doing something important...that it's not just for mere fun and games...When in the end, they go making stupid accusations AGAIN..

I really really superlatively love this movie!
I was sorta able to watch it ahead shhh

Anyways, pushing my guilt aside *push push push*....
It really had a great lesson in it....so great that it made me so thankful for having not just one but three annoying yet fun siblings in my life...
Not to mention being under tight but still reasonable-in-a-way parents....

*happy sigh* Seriously....It's one great movie...

Am not so sure if boys would really be a lover of it though...I bet they'd sleep through it

Damn it! I missed practicing for this dance-slash-test for our Reading and Literature worth 50 POINTS!

And it's all because of yours truly's carelessness...I didn't notice that the place I was standing on was hallow! So...

Today was one heck of a day spent at....SCHOOL! I know, I know...why would I waste my Saturday at school when I had other important things to do (uhh..you know, like the internet?)

Well, unless we wanted to be excepted from making our Christian Living project, we had to attend this Diosecan Seminar for Life. In short, we were blackmailed! (can be called as bribing in a way too..) All of the high school students in our school was! (I dont know with other schools though...)

The venue was at our schools gym and it was jammed pack with students from different parishes and schools. Of course, some (students from OUR school) just came to log in then leave ...but something inside me wanted to learn from it (and get the exception too of course..hehehe)...And guess what, guess what? For the whole morning...I WAS BORED! I was regretting coming but again, there was that urge to go back in the afternoon...

And when I arrived (30 minutes late) for the afternoon half...I WAS STILL BORED!....

UNTIL the most touchy topic for teens came up OUR SANCTITY. Everything was discussed by the speaker (who turned out to be fun) from premarital sex, teenage pregnancy, abortion....(ok you get the picture) She explained it in a straight forward yet creative manner (powerpoint does wonders)

After it all, Im glad we were bribed by our teacher...A lot of the things said touched my heart and will forever remain in my mind. Like that letter from an unborn baby...telling his mom how much he loved her and couldn't wait to come out from her womb but in the end....the mom wasn't happy about him and aborted the defenseless baby...or like that lesson about how true love DOES wait...

All in all it was a fun experience

Ok..it's pretty late..but something was bugging my conscience...

I felt as if I needed to do something special...even if it's not a big thing but at least something special just for my brother..it IS his 13th Birthday after all...

So here it goes...

Once upon a time...around the year 1994 to be exact..

there came out the cutest-no-question-the-most-adorable baby boy ever!

(ok this is opinionated but seriously..you should see the fat baby pics!)

White, chubby to the fatty power and cute!

(can you just imagine it???)

This boy had an older sister...(*cough* *cough*)

who loved her new cute brother so much..but sadly, the little girl had an evil side....

*fast forward*

The little cute boy had to suffer years of torture from the evil mean sis...

leaving him emotional scars unconsciously...(oh no o.o)

But deep down, the evil little girl loved her brother dearly and wouldnt let anyone hurt him but herself...while occasionaly playing and laughing with him with some torture on the side

(as usual ><)

*fast forward again*

As years passed...the little boy grew up to be the silent type...

the mysterious one who walks in the grassy field at school alone

(and teachers actually notice this?!)...

the one who watches more tv than stay outdoors...

a robot-slash-techie addict with a dream of owning a toy company one day....

a mind so full with out-of-this-world-ideas...

and surprisingly the guy whom a lot of girls would prefer to be friends and share secrets with(*ahem* He is not gay! XP)...

he had this crazy sense of humor people would sure to love...and isnt shy to show it...

and being a sister that she is, though quite harsh in the past, the girl seeing greatness in her brother didnt want him to just be mediocre...so bit by bit she started showing her care and support for him in whatever he does

(bit by bit coz if she showed it all at once he would suspect she was having another evil plot)

As more time passes..the boy grew more and more outgoing and expressive of himself...

and a lot are starting to see

how far he could reach in his life with his one-of-a-kind-mind and personality \(^^)/

the only reason or families know each other is because a long time ago, when my Aunt was stationed in New York, she heard about a new nurse coming whose family name was also Cabahug and that she was from Bohol...

so she went of to meet her

Anyways...back to the present...

So yeah the Cabahug nurse now has 2 daughters...

KAte and KC..who actually ended up having close age groups with me and my sis!

So I thought...ok this wont be so hard...

But of course as usual..it all started out with silence and just a few exchange of words...

(My mom was the only one who actually made conversations longer)

But thanks to my talking skills and my I-wont-give-up-till-I-make-friends skills....

and of course some other skills from the other party...

Turns out...Kate and KC were just like me and Thea....

And guess what! They're crazier!

Back in the States (where theyve been living) ...

My Aunt was right! KC and Thea are more alike and so is Kate and me in a way...

Since while Thea and KC were swimming and splashing in the pool as if KC wont have to go home tomorrow..

Kate and I had our own bonding time talking about school...hobbies...

So yeah..by the car ride home, KC couldnt stop laughing!

Today, something happened that made me not want to wake up for tomorrow...

It makes me feel aweful remembering it but then again...

repeating it over and over many times helps naman diba? (right?)

So here's what happend...

There were a bunch of contests for our school's english week was held a while ago..

in school (duh! LOL)

Anyways, one of the contests was rapping about something related to the theme...

And guess what?

I gave our contestant the WRONG theme!

Instead of "Going Global through english.."

I went like...

"aah..I think the theme was GLOBAL WARMING..."

It was mortifying! Even though I wasnt the contestant..I felt aweful!

Especially since our teacher (the very very strict one) was already pissed at our contestant and then..then....

Now I dont want to wake up tomorrow and have to face any scoldings

AAAAAAAAH!!!!

BUt then again.....

Everything goes on....

I'll have to learn to face consequences and...and....dreadful experience...

I've been having this urge to make a new post but my hands wouldnt cooperate...so instead, I decided to scan through some of my past posts (*erm* all of 'em XD)...

It's really true what one of my fave authors wrote...that keeping a journal is amazing. reading through all those past entries you wrote. How hilarious or over the top you get about a certain thing or even how hyper you got one time....

It's like reading someone's private thoughts without breaking the law..LOL...Plus it helps a lot looking back at those posts which had so much wisdom in them (and heck it came from my own mind! Am not that bad after all? *head inflating*)

So after reading all those posts of mine...I felt an overwhelming happiness inside of me...

Time check...it's 12:32 in the morning and if my parents find out that am still awake...I'd like my bestfriend to set up my last will (LMAO) hahaha..so yeah, I was already sleepy a while ago but suddenly the thought of my muticolored poo layout got my thoughts going. I just realized how poo symbolizes my thoughts and my life! Wait! Corection: How MULTICOLORED poo symbolizes...(LMAO)

I've come to realized how blessed I am. I've seem to always be hoping, wishing for more in life...(duh, am just a teenage girl XD) But, I've got everything I need already...a family, imperfect as it may be,..friends, on and off line...(trust me, without em, I'd be dead by now! Seriously! boredom kills people! nyahaha) and basically, my eyes have just been open (ironic since it's like..dawn hours haha)

And all this is thanks to.....a multicolored poo layout! (kyaa! I just cant get enough of it!!! LOVE IT!!!)

And I've actually noticed how my past entries have been a bit....hmm..thoughtful. Not the usual sheidel-crazy-antic-self...Am not saying it's a bad thing though. It's great! Weeee! I finally managed to put up this blog layout that I totally loove! (Special thanks to Sheena for making it possible! Yey for you!)

Yes, my layouts right now is basically multicolored poo..haha..makes no sense really. But it just really stood out from the rest. Maybe tws beacause of the color...or the poo...LOL. So yeah, I plan to do some major changes in my blog to fit my layout. (It's cuteness has a strong affect on me XD)

The only problem right now is that this time, I didnt get my layout from my usual site, PYZAM, which has way easier layouts to manage than Blog Skin a.k.a. where I got this layout right now.

I guess I'll need to learn more about HTML and stuffs *dizzy* wooo....so yeah, I still have a long way to go >.<

Sophomore Year:My pessimistic-slash prejudiced POV

Ugh! I dont know why but am being such a prejudice-slash-pessimist right now regarding sophomore year. Why? Well first, the adviser I so wished to get away from in freshie year...is yes..you guessed it...MY ADVISER AGAIN! -.- If your wondering what made me like this towards her, let's just say she ruined my last day of fresh yr...-.-

Secondly, the beloved classmates of my first year life are mostly in a different section! I ended up with girls whom I dont really vibe with -.- Yes, my bestfriend and some close friends are in the same room but this is my pessimistic side acting up..so yeah...

Sigh...plus what Im really freakin out with is the fact that I plan to have this big change in my look...and as you may have read in my past post, I hate criticism-.-..I said I was not going to mind but I still hate it...ha!

Oh well, Now that all the negativity is out..time for me to put on those rose colored glasses!

It’s red, super sleek, soft to the touch and has a movable camera and most of all, it’s brand new---it’s the phone I’ve always dreamed of having and it’s finally mine! Plus, it came from my Uncle who puts others happiness before his own, who wouldn’t mind if there was none left for himself as long as the people he cares for are happy. So you could imagine how delighted I was…….and how it PAINED me to let it go when I wasn’t even able to have it for a whole day.

You might think that “hey if you liked it that much, then why give it away??? Stupid!.” But I wasn’t giving it to just anyone, but to my mother, my mother who had thought of others before her own (I think it runs in their side of the family..haha) Trust me, it was a very hard thing to even just suggest to her that it was FINE by me if she could have it (y face was telling otherwise -.-) Tears would slowly form in my eyes everytime I remembered the reasons how much I loved IT(no exaggerations here!).

For the long ride home, I’ve been weighing the reasons why I should or shouldn’t give it over. Then after much reflecting…It dawned on me….How materialistic I have become lately, when in the end, all these THINGS would eventually equal to nothing. Yes, I was guilty of sourgraping from time to time but another epiphany came over me….

I was always on the receiving end! For the past few years, I’ve received more than I could imagine from the people in my life. And in return, I had nothing to show for. It wasn’t because I didn’t want to, but because I couldn’t. It was either that I didn’t have the time or the money for it L

Now, if receiving things would be make me so happy..I wonder how much more if I’d be able to give to the people around me? I bet I could just die! LOL…

So maybe giving up THE cellphone for my mom who would actually need it…Might just be what would make me happy ^^,

As you might have read in my last post, I have this extremely huge fear of being infront of a crowd ...and then...I realized something, it might not be because of the hugeness of a crowd, instead, it's the judgements and critics of others! That's what I'm REALLY afraid of...Afraid of what they might say...

something hit me...not something new...but a known-fact..a fact that most of us forget...

No matter what others say, that does not define who you are or your capabilities...Take criticisms in a possitive way...Just do your best, and the leave the rest to Him ^-^

Facing fears

Approximately 36 hours before I have to recite a 10 paragraph oration about how we should believe in ourselves...for everyone to hear and judge me...eyes staring...aaaah!

Having to do something in front of a large crowd is one of those things that would make me crawl under a hole and not come out till the next decade! Ok, I've made a hyperbole there but seriously, I hate public appearances. Especially when I'm the only one! I don't know why I'm so fearful of it. I used to remember when I was a lil' girl how I'd crave for the spotlight and attention. The more people the better! But I wouldn't say that now...

But I really am determined to conquer this fear of mine. It does me no good at all. And, I'm pretty sure what's the root of a all of this...I'm scared of judgement...It injures me so badly inside hearing side comments and critics...But now as Im writing this, I've realzed something....

Ironic game

Tomorrow, I will once again start playing the sport-that-I-love-but-secretly-doesn't want-to-play....TENNIS! Yes, my love for this sport is really quite ironic. I always look forward to future trainings with my gifted and understanding coach. Yet I'm always too tired to call him to arrange our sessions and thinking about the upcoming session...let's say...TOMORROW, doesn't make me feel any more enthusiastic about it -.-

But what's weird is that when I do arrive at the court and see that it's unfit for playing, (e.g.wet or being used) I feel downhearted T^T...

On the other hand, when we do start training and I finally start whacking some(around 30-40) balls, it feels great! Tiring, yes, but great!

I guess it's just lethargic-ness getting to me -.-

It's really true what they say that you don't have to look too far to find joy and inner happiness. Since most of the time, or maybe even all the time, the root of true joy aren't those high-class things or well-known titles. It's usually those simple-yet-one-of-a-kind everyday experiences...

Like right now, I experienced great felicity after watching an amazing movie entitled "Akeelah and The Bee." It's like after seeing it, I felt so light inside that nothing would be able to bring me down. Then I received 3 messages that made me smile even more! One is from my bestie-slash-long-lost-sister declaming the oh-so-amazing-fact about our friendship ^-^...Then was an invitation to one of my close friends birthday which at first I though it would be impossible for me to attend -.-, but later realized there is a high chance of me being able to attend it^-^ and the last was from the Guy! No, not anything that would make my hair stand (LOL) but instead, just a simple goodnight which added to my already-happy-mood...

So here I am now, sharing with you my cheerful bug hoping you would catch it too^-^

Moving on and letting go….

(Sorry for the late post!)

After countless moments of reflecting how I don’t need him in my life and trying to get over those times that the emptiness-slash-loneliness had been devouring me from within, I can finally say that I’ve moved on…Moved on from that pit of longing that I placed myself in when I decided to let him go. Knowing that if I didn’t get my thoughts together, I could never have gotten away from that place.

Yes, I admit that I still feel the loneliness at times and that I constantly daydream of means to make you jealous and regretful for why you just let me slip away, evil isn’t it? Hahaha…But you cant blame me for that’s the only state which I can make you terribly envious and hurt just like how I felt during those times that I’ve found out how you’ve been, no offense, a flirt to my very best friend. Yes, I’ve been holding to this grunge on you because of all the things I’ve heard my best friend say. I mean, do you know how hard it is to simply reply to you when you text me with that cheery-with-a-smiley texts of yours without being moody? Or those times when I do decide to act normal through text then you just reply me with a bland ‘ahh…ok.’?!? So basically, I just don’t reply to you at all, trust me, that takes a whole lot of self control on my part! Why? For months I’ve been accustomed to replying to you no matter what! Regretting how much load I spent afterwards! But, right now, I don’t hold on to those feelings any more, erm…or should I say that I’m letting go of it bit by bit. I’m fine now but I think the distance we have right now is best. Time will come when I or uhm we would be able to see each other face-face and feel no bitterness anymore

I crave for someone to make me feel special, cared for and loved...to make me feel whole again..to fill that empty space where he used to be in...

But a great part of my sanity keeps on telling me that I have to get over this craving for it will surely do me no good. Yeah, the feeling would be great but then what about the long run? I'd just end up wanting someone for that stupid reason which means that even if I dont have any feelings for them anymore, I wouldn't be able to let go and end up making both of us miserable.

So right now, I'm trying my hardest to live life without someone constantly reminding me of how special I am or how much he cares for me.......

and WHAM! it hits me! I've come to realize that I've always had it already, I just somehow failed to notice until now that He is just there, cheering me on every step of the way...All I need to do is listen to Him

Yeah, I know Im the one who decided to stop whatever we had, but I don't get why I'm the one hurting right now! I don't know...maybe it's because Im still learning how to get used to my life without you...no more goodnight calls, sweet greetings or random I-miss-you messages...No more...There might have been some regrets in me but I know I did what's best since I just can't continue keeping you for the sole reason of "needing." No..that's wrong and unfair if I did that...

Now, I must learn to go on without you there by my side...Learn how to independent and not so needy to have a "special someone" there..I'm gonna live everyday the way I want to...Having fun and being free, looking forward to the future...

But don't get me wrong, I'll always cherish whatever was between us and all those crazy times. Only now, I wouldn't and shouldn't dwell on it so much since that's the past now...But instead, tuck those memories deeply in my heart...

Whew! That's some blogging I did! I mean I know I'm usually on the not-so-blogging side but I tell you, when my bloggary mood switch is on..there's no stopping my brain from dumping thoughts onto the keyboard! But thats sorta the problem, it just keeps on typing whatever it FEELS like typing for that moment. I can't really force myself to type about something which my brain hasn't picked, and this is the cause for all the unorganized posts...So sorry for that! BuT I guess that's just how I roll ^_^

Can you just imgaine, this would have to be my 6th post FOR THE DAY ALONE! 6!

And honestly, I still have a lot I wanna blog about, even though as uninteresting it may be...But I think I've used up all my blog enegry and the mood is fading away...*fade..fade..fade*

Aside from tennis, I decided to take english as well, for the sole purpose of developing my confidence in speaking to the public (this was the closest course I could get! They dont have John Robert Powers here <_<)

After reading the guidelines of what we'll be taking up...I already imagined it not-so-fun-and-cheery with a bucket of boringness...but after my class today! I was proved wrong!

Aside from the fact that I was able to interact and meet new friends, (one of my goals achieved ALREADY..yipee!) I was able to learn a lot from our teacher, Maam Michele(didya know that this is the original spelling of her name..in the French!). I'll be making a portfolio (whatever that is..) and the first thing in it is entitled "my symbol"..where we pick something that symbolizes us and write a paragraph about it (I already decided on a butterfly..but Maam said it should be inanimate ._.)

Today, wasn't suppose to be our normal schedule since it's suppose to be every M-W-F at 2-3pm but since Maam will be on a retreat for the next few days...so yeah ._. But it was a good thing since I met other people from the higher levels and the space we stayed in was much bigger than the regular classroom so we were able to move more!

I cant wait till the next session..but sadly I'll be missing out on two of them (and guess what else is bad about that....It's the sessions where we tackle about public speaking! ><) Then when I can already attend...IT'S CHARTER DAY a.k.a NO CLASSES! Aaaah!

Hope there's a good side to this...I really do!

That's right I have classes this summer..well not the ones you're suppose to take when you fail a subject or two..Hell no! Just those classes that aside from keeping me busy, would help me develop my talents as well...

This year, I decided to take Tennis and English.

Tennis to continue what I've started last year and well, I just love the game! Just like how boys love basketball (or somethin close to that >.<) But sadly, I still need to straighten my schedule with my instructor since our supposed session..he stood me up! Meaning, there wasn't any first session for this summer yet <_<...i>

Hoping to be granted my wish....

My whole family's goin to Manila this Saturday and maybe until Wednesday....why? Cause just like the other thousands, if not millions, of Filipinos out there, we're hoping to get our Visa's granted. That's right were one of the millions who'll be willing to spend $$$ without even sure if we'd get ANYTHING worth that in return...But hey, that's what life is about isn't it? Being wiling to take the risk, not knowing how much luck is with us. Going for even the slightest chance to get what we want.

Why do I want this by the way? Well, aside from the fact that it would be nice to experience US, I wanna see my relatives there and get reacquainted with them.

I mean what my siblings and I lack now is only a visa. (Yes, you read it right, my parents have theirs already...)

All I can do know is pray...Pray that we might just get lucky and the consul who'll be interviewing us is not having "one of those days," that we might get someone nice and doesn't have a stone heart...and that my wish would be granted ^^

and if it's not too much...

YOGHURT LURVE!

Yes...

I have a new addiction....

STRAWBERRY YOGHURT!

I had my first taste of it, a few days ago (that's right VERY 1st)

My mom wouldn't budge for REAl strawberries since they were too expensive *boohoo*...Then I remembered this commercial on Nestle yoghurt and decided to try it! Since it looked yummy and most importantly nutritious! (I've been sick of junkfood lately...) I was already warned by my mom before that it's sour and that's why she wouldn't buy it for me, but this time..she said YES! I just got one cup since I was just tastin'....I didnt immediately eat it since I wanted to wait for the "right snacking time"..and when it finally came...I couldn't hold my urge to taste the goodness of yoghurt anymore!!!

so I opened it, got a spoon, and took a quick taste....and I never looked back! >o<

And that's the story of how I came to love yoghurt..strawberry yoghurt!

Note: For those of you who don't know what it tastes like...well it's sweet with a hit of tanginess..*yum*

Now, I just have to wait for next grocery time, this saturday!!! (It's a good thing Im controlled..hehehe)

Oh wait! *remembered somethin* I might have to wait longer! ='(

The past few days..or even weeks must have been the most unproductive. (not that internet-ing isn't productive..oh yes it is..but you know) I just realized...It's summer and I've got all the free time I need! No school works, projects, etc...So I shouldn't waste..er..I mean spend all of it with my precious laptop. I could remember all those times that I kept on wishing for free time..and loads of it to do all those things I've been postponing to until "free time" came...

Yeah, I've been quite lethargic lately from sitting all day, staring at the screen( computer or tv, I take my pick ; P) But hey! I still have 48 free days till school comes (OMG..I'm starting to countdown! >o<)

So I've decide to make a to-do list...Ok, that sounds tiring..Let's say..hmm..Ah!*lightbulb*...

It all started with my mother dearest coming into my room...and I couldn't do anything to hide my swollen red eyes...She kept on asking why but how could I answer her when I don't even know! Or well, maybe I did but just couldn't handle telling her without leaking. But noo, she insisted. *sigh* I hate being probed. Her reason: she wants to know what kind of attitude I really have deep inside o.0???

Note: I'm the type of girl who is frank on the outside but secretive within ; D..get me? Not? oh well...

Anyways, that's how our little heart2heart talk with my mom started. About what you might ask? Well, sorry it's a classified mother-daughter thing ; P....As I listened to my mom, it made me see another part of her.(I'm not sure what but there is a what..) Too bad our talk was cut short due to my lil bro's intrusion...Or maybe that was a blessing in disguise? hmm...

hidden reason for these tears

For once I decide to keep my mouth shut and just listen to this drunken old man as in gabs on and on about the same things when he's in this state of drunkenness...As I just quietly listen to his talks, something is welling up inside of me..and the next thing I knew, I felt my face getting wet with teardrops. I tried to hold 'em back but it still leaked out...

I managed to get him up to his room and on to his bed, still not trying to stop him with his talking. The more this old man went on about how he wanted his life to end already and about the Father, the more tears I shed as I recalled how people wouldn't take him so seriously and just use him and how I haven't been that great of a grand daughter either...

I couldnt help but hug him and say how much I love him and how sorry I was for those times that I forgot that he is still a human being with motions...suppressed emotions maybe...but still emotions...and my grandfather.

Heavy pouring rain, trees 'dancing', flashes of lightning and the sound of heart-stopping thunder( see where the song fits now?) Aaah...the kind of weather I favor. The only problem is...it's SUPPOSE to be summer! I imagined seeing bluer than blue skies with cottoncandy clouds and a smiling-shades-wearing sun. But what do I see? One word: gray...But hey! I'd prefer this weather compared to the Im-in-the-oven-HELP weather that I've been experiencing for the past few days...o why am I complaining?

GOsh! It's that kind of temperature again...and it's killing me I tell you...killing me!!! Why is it that every afternnon, around this time, it's so freakin' hot in my room!...oh wait, its summer isn't it ._. ? No wonder....or is my room always like this every afternoon but I never noticed since Im usually at school or somewhere else...

AHHH!!! The light! The heat! The beads of sweat!...and...and...that eeew feeling!

I guess that's my cue to take a bath now....and this time I mean it!

I don't know why but I just had the urge to write about this...could be because of what I saw kanina.

They say it's suppose to be the best part of our lives, high school. And, I guess that's true. I mean, I'll still be an incoming sophomore yet I already carry a long with me oodles of memories from my freshman year. Crazy, humorous, sad, joyous and whatever kind there is. Remembering all this, I just want time to stop, or even just slow down a bit. It's like it's the first day of freshman year then next thing you know BOOM, sophomore is just around the corner. Then, I remember all those times I had being a Rubian, whether good or bad, it makes me a bit gloomy inside since I know that this chapter of my high school life has already ended. And with one chapter down, only three more to go, then college!...(wait! step back! I don't want to talk about college...at least not yet.)

So yeah, I'm missing school right now.(which is quite ironic since I'd miss summer if it was school!) Especially my friends and classmates. Homework and stress excluded.

Basically, I just cant wait till june!...or maybe I can ; D

Is it REALLY summer???

It's been how many days already since school was over, since the start of summer...but why can't I fell the summer spirit? (is there really such a thing?!?) ...

For the past few days, I haven't really done anything aside from staring at the laptop screen for hours, plurking or playing games. I mean, my parents noticed how my bro and I are always indoors that last Saturday, they dragged us to the outdoor world! Hills and all(I'll try to blog about that...)...So yeah, right now..I am once again inside, surfing the net and such...

I'd really want this to be a fun and productive summer! I've been waiting for it since...uhm...the day when I got so disrganze and stressed and behind with everything. I wanted summer to come so I can sit back, relax and do all those things I had no time for. But look at me now? Wasting such good days being indoors ALL DAY LONG!...

Maybe I should start making a summer-to-do-list that must be accomplished before the summer ends...hmm...Yeah, that seems like a good idea...I guess should start working on the list then...maybe I'd post it here next time...

Well, as I see it it's like a journal but online...am I right? If so, then this shouldn't be so complicated I write in my diary/journal all the time(ok fine, sometimes...)Soo...I guess I'll be doing it that way then...Just dumpin' anything that comes into this already-crammed-up mind of mine. Just keep on blabbing on and on and o (see? Im doing it already) Hmm...I might get used to this...man..this seems to be a pretty lame first entry...oh well sorry for that.
